BioOver the past few years, there have been numerous books movies and documentaries about transgendered individuals but few speak to me - a young trans girl in her twenties. The notable exceptions are Erin's webcomic 'Venus Envy' and the Sundance documentary 'Transgeneration'. I hope this journal will speak for me and hopefully many others trying to live the life they were meant to have.
This is a fictionalized serial drama about a young transgender girl named Claire. She has undergone the hormonal changes brought on by estrogen, hoping it will help her start a new life in college. She seeks love, friendship and a place in the world all thile remaining stealth. Being pre-op makes this all the more difficult. Finding out that her new roommate is an out--and trying to be proud--transgirl doesn't make it any easier.
